East Gippsland Region Water Corporation provides water and wastewater services to communities located in the Eastern Coastal Region of Gippsland, Victoria. Located in Bairnsdale, you are in close proximity to the iconic Gippsland lakes, beautiful beaches, forests and mountains. The region boasts excellent services including schools, hospitals and local sporting facilities.
As a key Member of the Executive Leadership Group, you will accountable for the management of headworks, treatment systems, water mains, sewers, reuse facilities and appurtenant works. Other functions include water quality management; asset maintenance and operations; service delivery; environmental projects; and emergency management. You will also make key contributions to other areas including strategic development, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, performance management, team leadership, and emergency management.
We are genuinely seeking the services of an outstanding Infrastructure Operations Executive. You should possess tertiary qualifications in an Engineering and/or Science discipline combined with Post Graduate Management studies. An understanding of the water industry and extensive senior experience in urban water operations is vital. Technical skills covering water, wastewater, environmental management and contract management is highly desirable. A knowledge of State Government compliance and the associated regulatory frameworks including relevant Acts and Legislation is advantageous.
