East Gippsland Water is preparing to ramp up engagement with the local community about its services, as it looks to how it can best meet customer needs and priorities into the future.
East Gippsland Water Managing Director Steve McKenzie said “community participation will be crucial as we prepare our long term water resource strategy and our five-year business plan for 2023-28, which are key drivers for our business.
“This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our water and sewerage services. We look forward to actively engaging with customers and other key stakeholders and receiving their invaluable input.
“An important tool we are looking to use is Facebook, so please ‘Like’ East Gippsland Water and follow our page, if you don’t already. Then, at the appropriate time we will invite you to participate in the engagement process.”
East Gippsland Water also has a competition running on its Facebook page which will continue for most of February. Each week, to be in with a chance to win a $50 rebate on your next East Gippsland Water bill, simply ‘Like’ the Facebook page and competition post, and answer the quiz question correctly to go into the prize draw. Two randomly drawn prizes of a $50 bill rebate will be announced each week.
