About the role

We are looking for an experienced risk management professional to join our organisation. The Manager Business Risk will be instrumental in developing, implementing and supervising the organisation’s risk management system including processes, resilience planning, liability and emergency management.

Working closely with teams across the organisation, the Manager Business Risk will provide leadership, direction, and the tools to enable the organisation to achieve and maintain legislative compliance and accountability for the quality, accuracy and effectiveness of business risk decisions.

About you

As a provider of technical and management expertise, this role will showcase your high level of reasoning, judgement, and problem-solving abilities. Your extensive experience with development and interpretation of policies, knowledge of the Essential Services Commission and demonstrated ability to involve and gain cooperation from stakeholders across the organisation will help you to minimise exposure to adverse business risk issues.

We are looking for the right person who can demonstrate alignment with our values and a willingness to contribute to the ongoing success of the organisation.  This full-time ongoing role is based at our Bairnsdale Head Office, however flexible work conditions may be negotiated for the right candidate.
