Band 4 ($85,783 – $107,755) plus 9.5% superannuation

 

East Gippsland Water provides essential services to communities located in the Eastern Coastal Region of Gippsland, Victoria.  Located in close proximity to the iconic Gippsland lakes, beautiful beaches, forests and mountains, if you enjoy a range of activities from bush walking to boating, surfing to skiing, there is something for you!

We currently have an opportunity available for a motivated individual to join our Service Delivery team. We are entering a critical phase as we develop our next 5-year plan for the future of our business and how we deliver long-term water resource and sustainability planning for the region.

About the role

The Manager Operations Support & Improvement is responsible for the management of a small team to ensure the regulatory commitments of our organisation are met. This role has particular emphasis on maintaining key stakeholder relationships, and places significant importance on innovation, maximising productivity and maintaining high standards in the team to ensure that operational reporting and compliance functions are met.

In this intensive role, you will take the lead in the development and implementation of programs, initiatives and activities specific to:

  • Operational reporting and analytics;
  • Operational management systems;
  • Annual improvement plans; and
  • Recycled water, Biosolids, and Major Trade Waste Management

This ongoing role is based at our Bairnsdale Head Office, however as per our Flexible Work Policy flexible work conditions may be negotiated for the right candidate.

About you

This role will showcase your strong organisation skills and exceptional ability to engage with a range of stakeholders to provide timely advice and guidance on a range of regulatory commitments. The ideal candidate will have the ability to see a wholistic view of the organisation, and be able to prioritise, delegate and motivate to see projects come to fruition.
