New online quoting system set to help boost East Gippsland’s economy

East Gippsland Water

9th December 2021

East Gippsland Water has launched a new, free online quoting system to ensure local businesses have equal opportunity to quote for the supply of goods and services to the organisation – reinforcing the water corporation’s support to the local economy.

The e-platform, VendorPanel Marketplace, identifies businesses by location to ensure that registered local suppliers are able to receive and respond to quotation requests for East Gippsland Water projects.

Once registered, suppliers will be able to receive invitations to quote on work across dozens of categories, from building products to transportation and freight, which will help boost the local economy.

The new platform will manage all communication between buyers and suppliers and guarantee procurement best practice is followed.

East Gippsland Water would like to extend an invitation to all local businesses to register with VendorPanel Marketplace.

East Gippsland Water’s acting Executive Manager Business, Sarah Grixti, said, “This is about making it easier for local businesses to work with East Gippsland Water and in the process help create new opportunities for businesses in our region.

“VendorPanel Marketplace is a simple, yet effective tool to streamline our procurement process. It’s our new one-stop-shop and we invite all local businesses to register.”

Local businesses can register at www.vendorpanel.com.au/Marketplace

VendorPanel Marketplace is entirely free for suppliers. For more information, please visit the East Gippsland Water website: www.egwater.vic.gov.au/about-us/doing-business-with-egw/
