Work is expected to commence next week to replace nearly 1.6km of ageing water pipeline adjacent to Main Road in Lindenow.
The aim of the $650,000 project – planned for completion by March 2020 – is to maintain the reliability and efficiency of local water services in the Lindenow area.
Contractor Friths Plumbing and Gas Fitting has been engaged by East Gippsland Water to carry out the works.
Every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience to local customers and the general public. Traffic management measures will be necessary and this may impact on nearby parking as the works progress.
This initiative is part of East Gippsland Water’s $16 million capital works program for the current financial year – ensuring communities across the region receive high quality, reliable water and sewerage services well into the future.
